Her commitment to community, diversity, and music of Black origin aligns powerfully with our mission, and her guidance helps strengthen the festival’s long‑term impact and growth.

Randolph Matthews

Vocalist, Composer & Multidisciplinary Artist

Randolph Matthews is an acclaimed vocalist, composer, and multidisciplinary artist whose work blends soul, jazz, African rhythms, and experimental sound. With an international career spanning performance, education, and creative leadership, he is widely respected for his innovative approach to music and his commitment to cultural storytelling. Randolph’s deep understanding of Black musical heritage and his passion for community‑centred creativity make him an invaluable voice within Soultrane.

As an advisor, he brings artistic insight, global perspective, and a powerful dedication to cultural connection — helping guide the festival’s creative direction and its mission to revive soul culture across Northern Ireland and beyond.

Co‑Founder & CEO - Tomorrow’s Warriors

Janine Irons OBE FRSA

Janine Irons OBE FRSA is a renowned music educator, creative producer, and cultural leader, best known as the Co‑Founder and Chief Executive of Tomorrow’s Warriors — one of the UK’s most influential jazz development organisations. For over three decades, she has championed young artists, particularly those from Black and underrepresented communities, shaping a new generation of world‑class talent and transforming the landscape of British jazz.

As a Soultrane advisor, she brings visionary leadership, deep industry insight, and a lifelong dedication to nurturing creativity — helping guide the festival’s mission and strengthening its cultural impact across all communities.
